The
1940 Stancor Model 60-P
AM/CW Transmitter
This is a nice little AM/CW
transmitter...
a single 6L6 regen oscillator driving a H-K 24 triode
in the RF section; the audio is a very typical 6SJ7, 6N6, and a pair of
6L6's for a about 50 watts of plate modulated AM!

So here are some early photos taken
in June 2007. The filter caps for the HV supply were replaced with some
more suitable oil filled Sprauge caps and the HK-24 was replaced with a
24-G, similar triode.
Stand by for the rest of the story!
Some guys have been wanting to see
my 1935 Hammarlund SP-10.
This was brought home from Dayton in 2007, and is currently being used
in the shack. The mouse nest was left in Ohio!

This is a "table-top" version but no crystal filter. Even though, the
old receiver is excellent on 75M at night by simply narrowing the IF
selectivity!

As you can see, there has been a fair bit of corrosion on the chasis,
but it doesn't keep it from working.
